I came into the understanding of Christian Science about five years ago, for the physical healing, being at that time almost an invalid from a complication of diseases. I was under the doctor's care for two years for uterine trouble, but got no better, or only for a little while, and I had grown so weak and nervous that I was unable to attend to my household duties or my children. I also suffered from gastritis which my little daughter, then ten years old, healed in one treatment. These are a few of the many things which Christian Science has lifted me out of. Some of my healing has been slow and sometimes I have had to work pretty hard, but with the end would come that rest and sweet "peace of God which passeth all understanding."

Previous to my coming to Science I had attended an orthodox church all my life, but I never felt the spiritual uplifting that comes to the true Christian until I found Christian Science.

I cannot find words to express my thankfulness to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this great truth. It has not only helped me, but my four children have all been greatly benefited. It enables me to solve the many problems that arise daily, and my heart goes out with gratitude and love to God for His many blessings, and to those who have so kindly helped me.
