A sense of Deity as the infinite Person or omniscience...

A sense of Deity as the infinite Person or omniscience leads to the worship of an impersonal God, and this is understood and demonstrated through the medium of Christian Science. The organization which sets forth this scientific worship must of necessity be impersonally and liberally conducted to harmonize with the primary assumption of all law, and that which represents in outward form or association an invisible Principle must partake of the character and mode of that Principle; therefore Principle must be placed above person, and impersonality and democracy be seen as of kindred nature,—the true ways and means of the democracy of Spirit, in human affairs.

Channing.
