I cannot find words to express my gratitude to God, and also to Mrs. Eddy, to The Christian Science Publishing Society, and to all those who have helped me to understand this great truth which indeed makes men free. The physical benefits have been great, but the spiritual uplifting means so much more, and my greatest desire is so to live as to prove my gratitude.

In a very dark hour the cup of cold water was given me in Christ's name, and by the faithful study of Science and Health I was changed from a poor, miserable, complaining invalid to a healthy, happy, and useful woman. Each number of the Sentinel and Journal brings some help, and so many things have been explained and made plain by reading them that I look forward for their coming with great pleasure and feel I cannot be too grateful for them.
