need for Christian Scientists to be awake to the subtle manner in which attempts to secure legislation against them are being made, is well illustrated in the recent proceedings before the Kentucky legislature, and we cannot be too emphatic in warning our people to be on guard against such attempts.
It
is the mission and end of Christian education to bring the spiritual meaning of the great facts of religious history into individual experience, to epitomize and embody in man the providential leadership of mankind.
Physical
sense does not discover the evidences of spiritual existence, yet no one can deny that even a degree of spiritual perception gives nobility to aspiration, and stability to effort, and that it unfolds capabilities which otherwise would remain dormant.

Christian Science was brought to my notice about five years ago by my sister, who urged me to give it a trial.
At the age of three years I had a very serious illness which resulted in almost stone deafness.
Christian Science found me for and with anything and anybody that was against the Bible.
I desire to tell what God has done for me and mine through this blessed truth which is redeeming mankind from the yoke of bondage.
As an expression of gratitude for the many blessings Christian Science has brought to me, I wish to give the following testimony.
I wish to speak of a demonstration made over a sensitive tooth which had been reminding me for some time that it needed attention.
I desire to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me.
Though perhaps still manifesting some form of physical inharmony, are we truly grateful for relief along other lines?

My heart goes out in deepest gratitude for blessings received through Christian Science, because I was healed seventeen years ago of many ills, after I had been treated by materia medica and was "nothing bettered but rather grew worse.
Christian Science has healed me of chronic stomach trouble, rheumatism, the tobacco habit, drunkenness, sensuality, evil desires, dishonesty, and mental depression.
I desire to return thanks for the many benefits received in Christian Science.
More and more the Christian world is coming to believe, what we think a correct interpretation of the Gospels makes clear, that Jesus is not the Saviour by virtue of his vicarious suffering for the world's sin, but he saves through his influence upon the minds and hearts of men and women.
