I desire to tell others how wonderfully I am assimilating...
I desire to tell others how wonderfully I am assimilating this blessed Science, which gives me such freedom from sorrow, sin, sickness, and trouble of any kind. Just three years ago I knew but little of Truth, and was scarcely able to walk at all. Now I am in perfect health, made over new.
Although very near ninety, according to mortal reckoning, I feel younger, stronger, and happier than I ever did. Forty years ago, my memory was so poor that I sometimes had to ask the servant who came to the door the name of the family which I went to visit, and had to "keep up" with the demands of society by means of wine and other mortal delusions. Now I am growing stronger every day, both in mind and body, and am so happy. I walked home lately from church, although the street cars had to stop on account of the snow falling heavily, but on my return I sat down and studied the Lesson-Sermon for the next Sunday, feeling "strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."
I study Christian Science a great deal, and as I do not sleep much, the understanding and spiritual meaning come to me in the night. I think it makes me strong instead of weak not to sleep a great deal. I am awakening fast out of dreamland. I live in Love, I love every one and every one loves me. God has indeed blessed me and I am so grateful. I am also thankful to Mrs. Eddy, that noble woman, and to all who have helped me to advance in Christian Science.
