About four years ago I was healed in Science of an ailment which had been pronounced chronic by the best doctors I could find. I had suffered intensely for nearly a year, it being necessary to use opiates a considerable portion of that time. It was only when the last physician whom I consulted said he felt that he could do nothing for me unless I would have an operation performed, that I yielded to the persuasions of friends and consented to have treatment in Christian Science. In about two months and a half, much to my astonishment and joy, I was healed.

I would also say that it had been necessary for me to wear glasses for a few years up to this time, but before the trouble had disappeared, for which I had particularly sought help in Science, I found to my great surprise that my eyes were perfectly healed, my glasses proving to be a hindrance rather than a help. I can say further, that since coming into Science my general health has been better than ever before.

For all these blessings and the many other benefits which I have received. I wish to express my gratitude to God. also to our Leader and to all who have helped me, through their understanding of Truth.—E. Q., Brooklyn. N. Y.
