Mrs. Eddy's Gift to Scientists of New Bern, N. C

The Christian Scientists of this city are in receipt of a rich New Year's gift from Mrs. Mary Baker G. Eddy, the great Leader of the Scientists.

The gift was three thousand dollars which is to be used in the erection of the Scientists' new church in New Bern, upon the property recently purchased by them corner Middle and Broad Streets.

This gift is highly prized by the recipients, both for the love which prompted it, and the great help it will give the Scientists in their work in his city.
