Words cannot express how thankful I am that Christian Science found its way to Walworth, so out of gratitude for what it has done for me I feel that I must write and give thanks for the healing of my ankle that I fractured six years ago.

I was in a hospital for nine weeks and on crutches for nineteen weeks. I was an out-patient for six months, and at the end of that time they told me they could do no more for me, as my ankle had not been set right. For five years I was never free from pain. I could never walk very far, and if I had to go upstairs I used to groan, the pain would be so great. Now I can walk any distance and run up and down stairs, forgetting I ever had a pain in my ankle, and knowing that God never made pain, so how can I, God's child, have pain. I have a lot to be thankful for and I owe it all to Christian Science.
