During my three years' study of Christian Science it has been my privilege to have many beautiful demonstrations of the truth. For some years my eyes had been troubling me and I had to wear glasses, but shortly after I became interested in Christian Science I took them off. My understanding at that time was limited, yet I tried to realize the allness of God. For about ten days I did not wear my glasses, but during that time I still kept them with me in case I should need them. This of course showed a lack of faith in God: and while I was trying to serve Him, I did not trust Him, but doubted His goodness and power.
At the end of ten days the old trouble seemingly returned, and I put on my glasses, but only for an instant as everything became so blurred that I could not see anything with them on. Since that time, over three years ago, I have not worn glasses and my eyes were never so strong and well as now. This demonstration has proved to me the nothingness of error and the allness of God. If we look to the one Mind, God, for help, nothing will be withheld from us, as all things are possible with God.
I had also a skin eruption on my fingers which was very annoying. It disappeared before I was aware, and this was accomplished through the understanding of a friend who is a student of Mrs. Eddy, and who rebuked the error whenever I voiced it.
