Mrs. Eddy and the Children

THE results of Mrs. Eddy's munificence in caring for the needy children of Concord and vicinity by the gift of shoes through W. A. Thompson, are in the form of blessings in many homes.

Yesterday, Mr. Thompson and his assistants were busy for hours at the fair grounds taking the names of applicants and ascertaining who were entitled to share in the gift.

Until a late hour last evening and all during the forenoon of to-day Mr. Thompson's store was literally packed with the little ones and their parents.
