Having just had such a clear demonstration of the power of Truth over error, I wish to tell of it, hoping it may prove helpful to some one else. I had a gold crown put on a tooth a few days ago, and thinking the nerve had been killed some years ago, I told the dentist that it had been done. Yesterday afternoon the nerve began to manifest life and sensation. The pain increased, and soon I saw manifestations of an ulcerated nerve. The first thought was to go to the dentist, have the crown removed and the nerve treated. Then I thought, Now is the time to prove that nerves cannot have life or intelligence. I sat down in prayerful thought and read for an hour, when I came to this sentence in Science and Health, "The Science of Mind disposes of all evil" (p. 473). Then the realization came so clearly that no dentistry was needed in this case, and gradually all pain left and all signs of discord.

This morning I went to the dentist to have some polishing done, and although he looked my teeth over thoroughly, he could see no signs of inflammation. I feel so thankful to Mrs. Eddy and to the friends who compile our helpful, lessons for each Sunday.
