I wish to express the gratitude that I feel for Christian Science

I wish to express the gratitude that I feel for Christian Science. It is over seven years since I first heard of it, and words can never express how thankful I am that I was led to this saving truth. It is an inexpressible blessing to me daily in overcoming the fear to which I was in bondage.

Before coming to Science, I never could sit in a draught without taking cold, and never could do any hard work, as I was brought up in the belief that I was not strong, and was forever taking medicine for some ailment or other. I was never free as I am now. I had a growth called a cold abscess of five years' standing that broke in one week's treatment, and without any pain. I can never tell of the peace that came to me at that time.

I was healed of one very severe trouble and of many other ailments. I never would have an operation, as my father had passed on under one, and it filled me with such fear that I was forever fretting about something.
