The Lectures

A lecture was delivered in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brooklyn, on April 24, by Judge William G. Ewing of Chicago. The lecturer was introduced by Mr. W. D. McCrackan. The church was crowded.— Correspondence.

The seating capacity of the beautiful auditorium of the new Christian Science Church was fully tested at the lecture given on Tuesday evening, May 5, by Rev. Arthur R. Vosburgh, C.S.B., of Rochester. Mr. Vosburgh is an interesting speaker. He was introduced by Mr. W. C. Lansing, First Reader of the local church, in a short and eloquent address.—Poughkeepsie Eagle.

The lecture at the Grand Opera House last night [April 14] by Judge Septimus J. Hanna of Boston, was largely attended despite the disagreeable weather. The parquet of the Opera House was filled with listeners and there was a good representation in the galleries. Judge Hanna spoke on Christian Science, and his address was listened to with interest. He was introduced by Mrs. E. M. Prince, the First Reader of the church in this city.
