I wish to express my gratitude to our beloved Leader for her thoughtfulness in giving us our periodicals.

Christian Science found me four years ago, when I was in a discouraging condition. My life at that time brought me nothing but sickness and inharmony, and whenever I seemed to be joyful for a while, discord and dissatisfaction seemed to follow close upon the happier experience.

One of our children had a rupture from which she suffered intensely. We depended on medical skill for three years, but it afforded her no relief. Then the physicians thoguht it advisable to perform an operation. I had no hope in that, for our child was physically weak and I feared for her life.

The old proverb, "Man's extremity is God's opportunity," proved true, for in that time of need. Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," was handed to me.

I began to read and study, and with the help of our dear teacher and friends who faithfully assisted me, I learned to know where the error was.

After five weeks' treatment in Christian Science, our child was healed. As the light shines in darkness, so Truth shone into my life and dispelled the gloom. This revelation brought healing to me, for Truth is the only healer. It awakened me to new life, full of hope and gladness, and I understood that God is Love.

Now I look up with confidence and trust to the one Mind, the one God, who is Life eternal. I learned to know that we are one with God here and now through the recognition and acknowledgement of the absolute divine Principle of scientific being.—MRS. MINNA BOHDE, New York, N. Y.

Thy life is hid with Christ; its faintest fire,
From heavenly inspiration born, shall glow
And sing victorious at the overthrow
Of sin and fear and death and Satan's ire;
A singing light thou shalt move ever on,
All sorrow ended, endless glory won.
