It is about a year since I received the blessings of Christian Science, and what a change it has made in my life! In the home where discord and sickness were present, now all is harmony, health, and happiness. I was healed by reading Science and Health. My trouble was a very serious one. I doctored for a year, and finally submitted to a surgical operation. This only served to make it worse. I became interested in Christian Science through the healing of my husband, who was healed in one night of hasty consumption, after three physicians had pronounced the case hopeless.

At first I did not understand Science and Health, but being assured that it contained the Truth, I was determined to have it. I was not healed at once, but I continued reading and studying, and with the understanding came the healing. I was healed in about six months. I am very grateful for Christian Science, for to me it is the most beautiful religion. The physical healing is only a part of the blessing, for the spiritual uplifting has been to me a transformation from darkness to light. It is with a heart full of love, that I wish to thank Mrs. Eddy for her unceasing efforts to reveal to us the Christ-truth, which makes us free.
