I am young in Science but I should nevertheless like to give my impression of Science and Health gathered in a three years' study, in the hope that it may help some other student.
What a book! To human view a volume to be read, to be studied perhaps, and then like any other so-called scientific book to be laid aside. But what do we find on closer inspection? We read it once, twice, thrice, and each time it is found to be a fresh volume, instinct with intelligence; and sentences which we have read and re-read, wear ever a fresher aspect. God be praised for the gift of this healing book.
I suppose we all study it in a different way, and perhaps each way is the right way. In my experience, to get the utmost benefit we should not only read the passages in the Lesson-Sermon, but we should also read the book consecutively, page by page and day by day. Let us fill ourselves with the glad tidings till with "full quiver" we need not be ashamed when we speak with our enemy in the gate.
