A Letter to our Leader

St. Louis, November 23, 1903.
Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy,
Pleasant View, Concord, N. H.

Dear Leader:—You will be pleased to know that our church edifice erected and dedicated in 1895,—under the title First Church of Christ, Scientist,—which provided seating capacity for about four hundred and fifty persons, has long since failed to meet the needs of our enlarged attendance.

We are now erecting a larger structure with seating capacity for twelve hundred persons, which we expect to have completed by the opening of the World's Fair, May 1, 1904. This new edifice will cost, when completed, between $130,000 and $140,000, including the lot. It is located on King's Highway Boulevard and Westminster Place, fronting two hundred feet on the latter and one hundred and seventy-five feet on the former, which is the leading Boulevard of our city. It will be a dignified, convenient structure, with Sunday School and other accommodations suitable to our reeds.
