Step by step I tread the pathway that leads me out of darkness into the marvelous light and liberty which Truth reveals to me. I was induced to investigate the doctrine of Christian through the healing power which was made manifest to me by a dear sister in Christ who is a practitioner. She made it clear to my mortal sense that the blessing of health was for me as well as for others. My friends and intimate acquaintances who knew of my chronic diseases were amazed at my speedy recovery and declared it surely could not be a permanent cure.
This was four months ago, and since that time I have taken great comfort in studying Science and Health, in reading the Sentinel, and singing from the Christian Science Hymnal. While I am debarred from services in the Church of Christ, Scientist, I go to those of other denominations, for I can worship with them, having been a Methodist from childhood, hoping to do more good than I could by staying at home selfishly exclusive, yet I hunger for companionship with those who are in sympathy with me. Thanks to our Leader and to the contributors of the daily food which I receive.—E. H. WYLAND, Lynn, Okla.
