General Association of Teachers

The following arrangements for reduced railroad rates are announced, in the interest of those planning to attend the Association.

The New England Passenger Association, Trunk Line Association, Central Passenger Association, and Southeastern Passenger Association have granted reduction in round-trip rates to Boston of fare and one third on certificate plan.

From California, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon, members may avail themselves of the regular nine months' rate to Omaha, Council Bluffs, Kanasas City, Chicago, St. Paul, St. Louis, or New Orleans and rebuy at one of the above points. If the nine months' rate is not in effect from the member's home station or starting-point, the agent at such station will cheerfully ascertain and advise the nearest point from which such rate does apply, as well as the eastern point to which it will be most advantageous to purchase nine months' ticket.

While the Western Passenger Association has not given notice of its action, it is confidently expected that it will concur in the fare and one third plan.

Those who wish to avail themselves of the reduced rates are advised to consult their local ticket agents for full information.
