Appreciation of the Concordance
When the announcement of the new Concordance to Science and Health was first received, I rejoiced in anticipation and supposed I had measured, in a degree, its scope and possibilities. When the volume was placed in my hands, the first glimpse filled me with satisfaction and gratitude. Since then, I have searched its pages "as for hid treasures," and its daily revelation is indeed marvelous. Surely none can use this gift from our dear Leader, without turning again to Science and Health with an awakened assurance that it is indeed a boundless storehouse of blessings. Words may suggest my feeling of gratitude, but they cannot express my sense of the value of this work to students.—C. LULU BLACKMAN, Fremont, Neb.
Having lately obtained a copy of the Concordance to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" I am pleased to state that during my first years of the study of Christian Science, I found that the book Science and Health was truly a Key to the Scriptures and it revealed the Truth; and when reading Mrs. Eddy's various books collectively, each book (by the inspiration of the author) sustained the others, and the others sustained the one. Now, to my discernment, the Concordance seems to serve as a Key to Science and Health and as we are taught in Science and Health, (p. 495), to "study thoroughly the letter, and imbibe the Spirit" the Concordance does enforce the Spirit.—EDWIN I. FREEMAN, Cleveland, O.
