The Mother Church Building Fund

with contributions from George Eliot

IN response to a late suggestion, we are receiving reports of meetings and methods of branch churches for securing contributions to the Building Fund of the Mother Church. They will prove of interest to the Field, though referred to impersonally, and we give three of them below.

A meeting was held September 16, to make arrangements for sending our contribution to the Building Fund of the Mother Church.

Its purpose being made known, an account was read of the manner in which this church contributed toward the building of the Mother Church in 1894, and we were reminded that, as we had cheerfully and generously given in the past, so had we prospered.
