The Comradeship of Right

BRIGHTEST star in darkest night,
Christ's our Comrade in the fight.
Strong in knowing He is near us,
Smite we left and smite we right,
With His panoply bedight,
With His presence in us bright,
In the fellowship of light.
What a mighty band of comrades
Are the comrades in the right!
Of all clans, and tribes, and times,
Of all tongues, and of all climes.
In the everlasting comradeship of light;
We're together, and we're strong,
We're the unseen Spirit-throng,
And we battle down the wrong
In the comradeship of Right

Most of our criticism of others is either idle or unjust because it does not take into account the obstacles overcome and the progress accomplished.—Hamilton W. Mabie.
