Before coming to Christian Science I was almost an infidel. In this unbelieving state of mind, I commenced to read Science and Health. Words cannot express what that wonderful book has done for me. I was very profane. I was also very fond of liquor and tobacco and a victim of other bad habits. I am much pleased to say they have all been destroyed through the reading of our text-book. I have also been healed physically, but to me that is as nothing compared with the great moral benefit I have received. I cannot be too grateful to Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, who has been the one chosen of God to give to the world this new-old Truth of Christian Science.
