The Lectures
There was a large audience at the Syndicate Hall on Monday evening [September 22] to hear the lecture delivered by Judge William G. Ewing of Chicago, on the subject of Christian Science. The speaker explained the Christian Science doctrine as near as he could in the time occupied, and was given the closest attention possible by his hearers. His remarks were well received and will undoubtedly result to a great extent in allaying the prejudice existing against Scientists and correcting wrong impressions formed as to their doctrine.—Crawford Bulletin.
A lecture on Christian Science by Judge William G. Ewing of Chicago, III., was given at Robinson's Opera House, October 5, under the auspices of First and Third Churches of Christ, Scientist, of this city. Attorney Kelly introduced the speaker appropriately and briefly.
