Wednesday Evening Meeting at Los Angeles, Cal.
The Los Angeles Record
There was a well-attended meeting of the Second Church of Christ, Scientist, held at the Woman's clubhouse last night (October 16). The regular Wednesday evening experience or testimonial meeting is usually presided over by Mrs. Blanche K. Corby, but as she was absent last night, the Second Reader conducted the meeting.
After the reading and prayer the leader announced that the meeting was open for any testimonials that were desired to be given.
One young lady told how she had always been diffident and did not care to mix with people, even with her friends. Since she has taken up Christian Science she said she had been filled with a great love for every creature, and the lowliest one of God's creatures filled its place in the harmonious love.
