In talking with a friend on the subject of Christian Science...
In talking with a friend on the subject of Christian Science, a subject that we had often discussed before, my friend remarked, "I would give a great deal to possess a religion that I was so perfectly satisfied with and sure of, as you are with Christian Science." This thought made me realize more than ever how much this fact of assurance is to be thankful for. Even in the beginning of my understanding of Christian Science, when I could demonstrate but little, and knew almost nothing of how to live it, still I had the positive assurance that it was Truth.
I have had many demonstrations, but I am not one who has entirely overcome physical beliefs, yet I know that by being faithful over the few things I shall some day be ruler over many things.
I greatly appreciate the Journal and Sentinel. I am very thankful to Mrs. Eddy and all who have helped me to know this blessed Truth.—E. H. P., Abingdon, Ill.
