Power of Truth over Error

I would like to tell of a little demonstration to show the power of Truth over error. One day I was out driving with a lady who was not a Christian Scientist. As we were coming down one street a man with a wagon came down another street and knocked into us so that his horse's foot caught between our horse's backstrap and the shaft pole. I began to realize the Truth, and that there were no accidents in Truth. That I was God's child and that no harm could come nigh my dwelling, and when we stopped and got the horse's foot out of the way we found that everything was harmonious.

A little girl who sat beside me in the drive told her mother about the accident. When she had finished, her mother asked her if she was afraid. She said no, because I sat beside her and I was a Christian Scientist.

I am only nine years old and have had many little demonstrations.—Beatrice Babcock, Brookline, Mass.
