“Silence anger with prayer,” the January 30, Sentinel cover said. It really works as Walter Rodgers points out in “Spiritual poise silences anger.”
I took his experience to heart when someone made some uncalled for demands of me. This individual had a reputation for always challenging and criticizing the actions of others. This time, instead of the tempting retort “It’s none of your business,” I remembered, as Rodgers wrote, that “divine Love transforms human character and overrules evil in any form.”
I was led to say, “Have no fear, everything is well taken care of,” and then I gave this person a big hug. Indeed divine Love had shown that there really was no busybody interfering in God’s work.
