It was really God who paved the way for me to get to know Christian Science. God made all things possible from the start, helping me to meet people who knew about Christian Science.

One Saturday morning in October, two and a half years ago, I was riding a bus to work and ran into a friend who asked me if I wanted another job. She worked as a household employee and needed someone to relieve her on some days of the week. At that time I was working just two days a week and had been looking for more work for quite some time.

I told her yes, that I was interested, and she took me to meet her employer. At the first meeting he told me all of the tasks I would be expected to complete, and I agreed to take the job with this family.
