Am I worth anything?
This Experience Happened many years ago, but the blessings from it have continued ever since. For four years my husband had a job that kept us traveling nearly 365 days of the year. My job was to help with the driving, do typing, make a homey feeling in motel rooms, and tend to other domestic matters. Often, though, I was just sitting in the background while my husband conducted a meeting or waiting in a motel room while he held interviews. Sometimes these interviews filled an entire day.
It was interesting to see new places or revisit places I'd been and to meet new people. But often I became dissatisfied. Previously I'd had my own job with opportunities to feel really involved in making a difference in the lives of young people. As much as I supported what my husband was doing, I felt left out and almost useless.
