Prayer brings physical healings and mental regeneration

I was introduced to Christian Science four years ago by the man who is now my husband. At that time, I had no religious belief and did not own a Bible or have very much knowledge of it. I had investigated various churches and philosophies over the years, but I was always left with the feeling that something was missing. I'd experimented with tarot cards, visited mediums, and gone to every "psychic fair" advertised in the area, searching for answers to questions I don't think I could have put into words.

My husband attended a Christian Science Sunday School until his late teens, but on moving away from home he moved away from Science as well. At the time we met, he had recently taken up studying the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly each day, in an attempt to return to what he knew in his heart was a better way of life. When I expressed my curiosity about this, he gladly included me. I decided to read the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, from cover to cover. Once I had read a few pages, I found I couldn't put it down! It spoke to me in a way nothing else ever had. By the time I had been reading it for three months, I realised I had not had a migraine in all that time, and knew I never would again. I had suffered these debilitating headaches since the age of ten, and in the two years prior to my reading Science and Health they were occurring every few weeks.
