As announced at last year's Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, a new "microcomputer concordance" has been developed by The Christian Science Publishing Society. This comprehensive study aid, Concord, is expected to be released in mid-June, following a period of exhaustive testing. It includes the complete texts of and concordances to the Bible (King James Version), Mary Baker Eddy's published writings (including Poems and Christ and Christmas), and the Christian Science Hymnal.

Any IBM or true IBM-compatible microcomputer running MS-DOS may be used, but a minimum unused hard-disk space of 10 megabytes and 512K of memory is required (640K of RAM is recommended). Anyone considering the purchase of computer equipment should weigh the expense of owning a computer. Not only is there the initial expense of hardware and software; there are also "hidden" costs. These can include dealer support, training, repair, service contracts, and insurance, which can cost several hundred dollars a year.

An extensive instruction manual will be provided, as well as a tutorial disk (available for demonstrations also). Answers to specific questions will be available through a new toll-free telephone number to be installed for this purpose (1-800-242-6147; overseas call 1–617–450–3992 collect). More information on Concord, including price and ordering information, is available through your local Christian Science Reading Room.
