Dissolving Racial Prejudice

Do we ever become suspicious or fearful of someone simply because we do not fully understand him? Do we feel ill at ease with an individual because his skin is a different color or because he comes from a different part of the world?

"Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?" Mai. 2:10; asked the prophet. And the greatest teacher of all, Christ Jesus, said, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another." John 13:34;

Christian Science teaches true appreciation of man by deepening our insight into his real nature and divine source. Mrs. Eddy writes in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health: "It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love. Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brotherhood of man will be established." Science and Health, p. 467;
