I, or Not I
God is good; His consciousness of being is perfect good. That's all. Man is God's reflection. Then one couldn't say, "God doesn't feel well today." And we have reason not to say, "I don't feel well today."
God is the one I, or Ego. The first person belongs exclusively to Him. Man is God's reflection, so any use of the word "I," to be real, has to express the qualities of God. In fact, it has to come first from Him, begun for His purpose, to impart His idea of Himself. Man is the idea.
We can never be God or act as God does. Christ Jesus said, "My Father is greater than I." John 14:28; But the healing works he did were God's works. He said, "I must work the works of him that sent me." 9:4; This is our cue. God is the origin of all that is real. The only true works we can do are those of God, those that reflect His being, those that are the expressed result of His doing.
