Do Not Fear

In any discordant situation fear is the first false element to be routed from consciousness. God specifically commands us not to fear. "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee," Isa. 41:10; we read in Isaiah. And over and over again Mrs. Eddy alludes to the importance of allaying fear in one's own thought and in the thought of others. She states, "Nothing but the power of Truth can prevent the fear of error, and prove man's dominion over error." Science and Health, p. 380;

The fears that sometimes besiege us can be disposed of when we know that fear, scientifically considered, is completely false. God is infinite, all-powerful, ever active, everywhere; therefore, where is fear? The answer, of course, is nowhere. It is only a human illusion. It has no power of its own to cling to anyone. There is nothing to support it if we refuse to believe it.
