Truth's Responsibility— and Ours
Christian Science teaches that immortal Truth cares for its infinitude of spiritual ideas.
This is Truth's responsibility.
Does this mean that human beings may sit back and let Truth take its course? No. It means we have a scientific premise, a solid foundation, from which to act and to do what needs doing. It means we have a basis for human progress and for meeting responsibilities. Christian Science, correctly understood, doesn't lead us into passivity, neutrality, inactive lives. There is no precedent for these in the histories of either Christ Jesus or Mrs. Eddy.
