Sound familiar?
Have you ever used this interjection? I have. It's a common response to some piece of sound metaphysical exhortation or statement of truth we don't think we're quite ready to accept.
Whether or not we agree with the counsel given isn't as important as to understand the state of thought this response betrays. The important point for you and me is that a yes, but... attitude would block our progress in Christian Science, for it indicates a lack of receptivity to truth and an absence of trust in the presence and power of good.
