Christian Science has given me, and is still giving me, many blessings.
At the age of fourteen I had typhoid fever in a very severe form. When I had been unconscious for several days, the doctor told my parents one morning that he was afraid I couldn't live longer— I would die before night. An aunt of mine, who was interested in Christian Science, asked my parents if she might ask for Christian Science treatment. As the doctor had given me up, my parents agreed to it, and my aunt went to a Christian Science practitioner and asked her for help.
When the practitioner came to our home that afternoon and sat near my bed, I opened my eyes for the first time in several days. She nodded to me very kindly. After a short time I fell into a sound sleep and awoke the next morning very happy and much better.
