I am twelve years old, and I didn't know anything about Christian Science until last summer. I was on vacation with my father and my new mother. I had two beautiful healings. I had a very bad case of oak poisoning. My neck was swollen and so were my eyes. My mother told me about Christian Science and how it could help me. When my eyes were better, she gave me testimonies from the Sentinel to read. The next day I could swim again. (This happened in Hawaii.)

The second healing was a fast one. I was playing with my sister, Catherine, on the car. She shut the car door completely on my thumb. It hurt very much. Catherine's best friend went to get my mother. Immediately she talked to me of God's care and said I'm always close to God as His spiritual likeness, His child. The very same night my thumb was cured. It helped a lot when I was reading other people's testimonies. I thank God for these healings and for the help we have from Mrs. Eddy's books.
