Be Yourself and Sing unto the Lord
In Psalms we read: "O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: . . . The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen." Ps. 98:1, 2; To sing God's praise is to magnify good—to extol good, to honor God.
How best can you sing God's praise and honor Him? You honor God through living a life that exemplifies good. When you share, in a practical manner, the love and understanding you have of God with your fellowman, you praise God. Therefore your need is to demonstrate that practicality is the effect of this love and understanding. Without practicality there would be no demonstrable evidence.
All fulfillment of human need is the effect of divine law and its infinite operation. Through expressing your gratitude in words and action you sing God's praise and honor Him. This is being yourself.
