You Can't Fool the Sun!

The clock read five fifteen when I awoke. The sun was high, with the light much too bright for five in the morning, so I phoned the Time Operator. She said, "At the sound of the tone the time will be three minutes past seven, exactly." And I thought, "It doesn't matter what the clock says, you can't fool the sun. It's up, whether the clock says it should be or not."

And the clock was made to yield to the sun's true time, not the sun to the clock's false record. Just so, instead of being fooled by the deceptive appearances of matter, men and women need to learn to know and accept God's spiritual creation as true. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health, "All the evidence of physical sense and all the knowledge obtained from physical sense must yield to Science, to the immortal truth of all things." Science and Health, p. 493;

This immortal truth of Science, which is victor over physical sense, is God's law. It controls all spiritual creation, including man, harmoniously. It is the unchanging and perfect law of God, divine Life, Truth, Love. Always present, always in force, that law is supreme over all physical laws, whether they are economic, corporeal, or any other.
