It is thirty years since my last testimony appeared in the periodicals, and I am grateful for the progress made during that time. I am particularly grateful for the privilege of class instruction and for the inspiration received from the yearly association meeting.

I now wish to relate a healing of a severe attack of jaundice, which took place two years ago. Help was sought from a Christian Science practitioner, and for the benefit received from this prayer, words alone cannot express my deep gratitude.

The obvious first need was to purify thought, and I was asked to study pages 184 and 185 of Miscellaneous Writings by Mrs. Eddy, including this statement: "None but the pure in heart shall see God,—shall be able to discern fully and demonstrate fairly the divine Principle of Christian Science." Progress was such that in a few weeks I was able to return to business on a part-time basis, and in another week to full-time. I was even able to undertake a duty required of me on alternate weeks, involving extra hours.
