You Are Beautiful!
Have you ever stopped to think how beautiful you are? I don't mean because maybe you're tall and have lovely blue eyes, or because, perhaps, you're slender and dress nicely; I mean you as you really are—God's child, a beautiful, spiritual idea.
Right now, if you stand up and say, "Thank You, Father-Mother, for creating me perfect," you will be showing that you recognize the beauty and completeness that each one of God's children always has, and will forever reflect.
The word "beauty" is sometimes used in connection with holiness. The Bible says, "Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." Ps. 29:2; And Mrs. Eddy makes this statement: "Man, governed by immortal Mind, is always beautiful and grand. Each succeeding year unfolds wisdom, beauty, and holiness." Science and Health, p. 246; As we progressively learn to see things in their true light—fresh and filled with beauty—we find that we too are expressing more Godlike qualities and appear more beautiful to others. We're expressing more of the Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus," Phil. 2:5; and people see it.
