Nothing Is Incurable
To people who have been told they have an incurable disease or who have long been struggling in vain with a physical problem, Christian Science offers this reassuring message: Healing is always available from God.
God creates man, and He no more wills sickness for him than a parent wants his child to be ill. God's will for His beloved children is that they be healthy and happy. And His will has divine power to erase all evil from our lives, whether evil takes the form of a lifelong fear, an "unbreakable" bad habit or addiction, a hereditary disorder, or any type of chronic or acute affliction, physical or mental.
Through his healing ministry Jesus proved that the power of God is present "in earth, as it is in heaven." Matt. 6:10; Everyone has a God-given right to be whole and healthy. Christ Jesus healed many people who had apparently incurable diseases, including a woman who had suffered from hemorrhage for twelve years, a boy long epileptic, a man born blind, and others who had longstanding deafness, dumbness, paralysis, and dropsy. These healings were not really miraculous in the sense of being unnatural. They were natural proofs of God's love for man.
