Though I have studied Christian Science for just a little over two years now, I nonetheless have experienced many blessings.
While working in New York as a photographic fashion model, I wandered into a Christian Science Reading Room, where the librarian kindly gave me a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I had been searching for the truth and knew that I had found it in Christian Science.
Shortly I returned to my hometown. The following year I devoted almost exclusively to the study of Christian Science. As a teen-ager I had experienced much mental turmoil and unhappiness. Truth brought error to the surface. In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy says (p. 540): "The muddy river-bed must be stirred in order to purify the stream. In moral chemicalization, when the symptoms of evil, illusion, are aggravated, we may think in our ignorance that the Lord hath wrought an evil; but we ought to know that God's law uncovers so-called sin and its effects, only that Truth may annihilate all sense of evil and all power to sin."
