How grateful I am to Mary Baker Eddy for more fully explaining to the world the truth of God's fatherhood and motherhood!
I would like to tell how God's ever-constant care has been demonstrated in my life. When I was seven years old, my mother passed on; and subsequent to that, my father's work often necessitated his being away, so that I was left in the care of others. Therefore, from a material point of view, I was often parentless.
At that time I was attending an orthodox Sunday School, and there I gratefully learned Christ Jesus' teachings. I early began to lean upon God because I had no human person to lean upon. I prayed to God to be my Mother and help me grow up correctly. I feel this prayer was answered, as I was led to Christian Science.
