Purity Heals
Purity is most valuable. It is a spiritual quality of God, Love, that we can express anytime, anywhere. This heavenly quality, expressed in chastity, honesty, love, is ours as we use it.
Purity brings healing and freedom from sin, sickness, sorrow, and limitation. Why? Because this quality, loved and lived, helps awake us to the true conception of God, Spirit, and of man, our true, spiritual identity as Spirit's reflection, or idea. Our real selfhood is spiritual, complete, intact, joyous, and free. Here is man as God makes and sees him, forever limitless and eternal.
All of us have moments when we truly desire to be free from the heavy weights of wrong thinking and wrong acting. Then we can pray for a new birth with these words of the Way-shower, Christ Jesus, from the Sermon on the Mount: "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Matt. 5:8; Does not this saying indicate that purity is an absolute essential in awaking to perfect God and perfect man, to our own spiritual oneness, or unity, with God?
