[Ability to demonstrate Christian Science comes with study and practice of the truth taught by Christ Jesus and revealed in Science and Health. This series touches upon some ways in which this truth can be applied.]
Healing by recognizing the falsity of error's claim
Since God is infinite good and the creator of all, the universe is entirely good. In truth there is no evil power or presence, no discord, no sin, no lack, no disease, no death. Evidence of evil is not truth but error—not something, but nothing claiming to be true. This nothingness appears as something only to false, mortal belief. So evidence of evil can be destroyed by destroying the belief —by knowing that it is error and that, in truth, God, good, and His perfect manifestation is all that really exists.
In order to heal a case of disease or discord of any kind, one must first detect the falsity of the claim that it is true, then expose the nature of the lie as illusion, and finally destroy it by recognizing that the perfect manifestation of God, or good, is actually present in place of it.
Let us say the case to be healed is a form of bodily malfunction.
