Is Jesus Coming Again?

One of the most popular recent books on Biblical prophecy written by a young traveling speaker for Campus Crusade for Christ predicts that "Christ may return any moment."^{The Late Great Planet Earth by Hal Lindsey with C. C. Carlson, p. 187;} Many people find this prospect exciting. There are increasing reports of young men and women who have turned from narcotics, immorality, and crime to join groups awaiting the day when Jesus returns. They study the Bible and pray.

This interest in Jesus and spiritual things is encouraging. It is further substantiated on college campuses where the study of religion as an academic discipline is becoming highly popular.

Many sincere writers point to such symptoms as the chaos in the world as evidence that Jesus' return is imminent. The growing anticipation among some young people that Jesus will return to earth shows a great spiritual hunger in the world.
