I am grateful that Christian Science has come into our lives. Many blessings have come to us. I would like to tell of my first healing in Christian Science, which was wonderful to me.

Before we knew of Christian Science, I had much trouble with my eyes. They were steadily deteriorating, I could not see well, and sometimes there were moments when I did not see anything at all. Because of the bad condition of my eyes the doctor recommended treatment for them, including a possible operation. I could not bring myself to submit to this, for the doctor could not say for certain whether the operation would help, and my fear was great that I would become totally blind.

At that time Christian Science came to us. We made the acquaintance of a student of Christian Science, who told us much about it. We thought it was beautiful.
